Plaster Casting

Project Description: Depict volume, void, contouring, and displacement through plaster casting.
 

Design: I created the mold by cutting square pieces of foam core board in progressively smaller sizes, stacking them with alternating angles to form a dynamic structure. The resulting plaster cast captured the inverted form of the mold, effectively illustrating the concepts of volume, void, and contouring.
